This year Indie and I will be participating in The Cancer Council ‘The March Charge’

Last year Indies Poppy was diagnosed with Cancer. Life changed after that phone call forever. In the moment you’re brave and then the next you can’t even talk without tears. You feel like your world is falling down and there is nothing you can do. Then you find strength you take it one day at a time and you realise you are stronger than you ever thought. Once poppy was given all the information and found out that treatment consisted 35 rounds of radiation and 2 rounds of intensive chemotherapy Indie and I knew we could be by his side each day at the hospital for not only treatment but all the appointments too. Indie was the bright light that could make Poppy smile even on the hardest of days. I am so grateful that we could be there for him in this way. A PET Scan and biopsy 3 months after treatment then confirmed the worst. Poppy has been given the diagnosis of Advanced cancer, which means we can help slow the cancer down but it is not curable. His cancer is aggressive and rare. Indie and I are participating in The March Charge for Poppy and everyone who has been affected by cancer in some way whether you are fighting cancer, caring for someone with cancer, know someone with cancer or have lost someone to cancer. We would really appreciate if you can also join The March Charge or possibly donate if that’s something you are able to do at this time. We hope that by participating we can share awareness for what the cancer council does and assist in research to help cure all cancer!
