I'm taking on Cancer Council's The March Charge...
Hi all,
Last year my partner was diagnosed with lung cancer. He’s 32!
What we thought was just pneumonia he had caught from our youngest actually turned out to be a 4cm lump. Since then, he’s had a lobectomy and is now undergoing chemo. We have a beautiful young family, with 2 young boys who idolise their dad.
Taking part in this challenge shows them that even at the weakest of times, we can come out strong!
So.. we’re taking on a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services.
This mumma will tackle the hard kms, while the little ones will join in when they can!
This year in Australia an estimated 162,000 people will hear the words "you have cancer", I'm doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for people impacted by cancer.
