I'm taking on Cancer Council's The March Charge for my Dad
As some of you may know, my best friend, my Dad, has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Neuroendocrine Paraganglioma. It’s been a long journey, filled with many challenges, but through it all, Dad has faced each one with incredible strength and a positive attitude.
The road has been tough, but the support from the Cancer Council, especially through Crawford Lodge, has made this journey a little more bearable. It’s thanks to them that Mum and Dad have been able to stay in Perth together while he undergoes treatment—offering them some peace amidst the chaos.
With this in mind its now my turn to do my part and say thanks. For the month of March, I’m walking/ running 100km with the goal of raising $1500 (original goal of $500 was smashed out of the water! Thank you!!!) for cancer research, prevention programs, and support services that have made such a difference in our lives.
Every step I take is for Dad, and for all those who are fighting and have fought this battle. Please, sponsor me and help make every kilometre count.
