Why I am doing this

Just before Christmas, I received the news that I have skin cancer—something no one wants to hear at any time. Thankfully, my GP acted quickly. The results confirmed that I had Squamous Cell Carcinoma. With continuous prayers, I am grateful to God that my GP successfully removed the entire growth, and my margins returned clear. Fortunately, the cancer did not spread to my lymph nodes.

From my initial diagnosis to the incision, the growth took hold in my body within just three weeks, growing rapidly and aggressively. I consider myself lucky to have detected and removed it in time, but many others are not as fortunate.

I ask for your help in raising both funds and awareness. Like many, I believed getting a tan was the epitome of cool, but the reality of receiving a skin cancer diagnosis is far from it.
