In honer of Mark Timms, I'm taking on Cancer Council's The March Charge...
This year, I am once again participating in the March Charge to raise funds for the Cancer Council. My goal is to walk 120 kms during the month of March. This challenge is very personal to me, as I am walking in honour and loving memory of my husband, Mark Timms. As many of you know, Mark passed away in April 2023 after a long and difficult battle with cancer. His courage, resilience and positivity continue to inspire me every day.
The Cancer Council does an incredible job of providing support to cancer patient and their families, funding world-class research and developing and implementing prevention programs. By participating in the March Charge, I hope to be able to give back in some small way, and help other cancer patients and their families who are fighting this insidious disease.
Any support will be greatly appreciated, whether by donating, spreading the word or walking along side me. Together we can make a difference and honor those we have lost, while offering hope to those who are still in the fight.

...a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services.
This year in Australia an estimated 162,000 people will hear the words "you have cancer", I'm doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for people impacted by cancer.
