As a tribute to my incredible Husband Jamie, I'm taking on Cancer Council's The March Charge...

Since Jamie passed away nearly two years ago (and while he was sick) I’ve not looked after myself.  I’ve stopped going for walks, exercising, gym-ing and running - which was one of my passions. So I need to start again - taking care of myself for not just me but my two beautiful girls. Doing this fantastic challenge is not just great to kick-start my fitness again, but raise money for cancer research with each step I take. 

I know times are tough - believe me! But if you could just donate a few dollars, I’d be forever grateful. 

If I can help just one person not have to go through what Jamie and out little family went through, it would mean the absolute world. 

If anyone would like to come for walks with me on my challenge, please reach out. 

It’s going to be a slow start as I’m the most unfittest I’ve ever been! But can’t wait to see how my health and fitness improves while raising money for world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services. 

Some info from the March Challenge team….

This year in Australia an estimated 162,000 people will hear the words "you have cancer". Every dollar raised will help support Cancer Council’s life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and support services (like their free, confidential Information and Support line 13 11 20) for people affected by cancer.
