Walk on!

Well fitting in kms of walking/shuffling has proven harder than originally thought. I didn’t stop doing Pilates and even spin classes and have realised that to reach 100km walking/shuffling will have to take priority. 
What I LOVE about this, is that it gets me out of the gym and into nature which is good for my soul. 

I saw Karen on the weekend and she’s doing chemo weekly which has it’s awful side effects but we had a lovely celebration for Caleb’s 1st birthday which she missed back in January as she was in hospital. 

I am planning a LARGE walk this weekend to clock up some kilometres so will nut out the details and invite y’all to join me if you can.

Charging for Karen

Many of you know or have met my beautiful cousin, Karen. She is 10 days older than me and we have always been close. Through childhood there was no one I'd rather belly laugh or climb trees with, and as adults we have climbed mountains together and have had adventures exploring various countries in our wonderful world. Karen has always been an adventurous one - not even having kids could stop her from travelling overseas. 

Unfortunately teaching and travelling are on hold as Karen has received the devastating news that she has breast cancer that has spread to her liver. She is grappling with this and the treatment this entails while also raising her beautiful, energetic 1 and 3 year old boys. 


Please help me to show support for her and do what I can to raise funds for Cancer Council who will assist her through these difficult times. 


I am no runner and haven't even been walking much lately so trying to smash out 100km will be a challenge, but each step and every dollar is in her honour. 


We love you cuz!
