Loving taking part in this challenge.  Seeing the support of others, the generosity, kindness and comraderie lifts my spirits. Having had Cancer changes everything but it also gives you a chance to see the goodness of people who are there to support you through the tough days. Thanks everyone.  Now to get some more km’s in! 

DAY 1

Well off to a good start.  Determined to reach my goal. Please note it’s not too late to donate check out the donations so far. Would love to reach $1000 so for those of you who have pledged a donation (no matter now small) $5 you still have time. Thanks everyone!!! Here’s to the next 30 Days! 

I'm taking on Cancer Council's The March Charge...

Many of you who know me well know I dislike asking for donations for charities due to the fact that I know a lot of you already donate to your own charities that are close to your heart. After being diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer last year and after experiencing first hand the amazing care, treatment and understanding I would never forgive myself if I didn’t at least try to do my bit to raise funds which may assist others down the years. I thought if everyone of my friends could donate at least $5 (not even a cup of coffee in Aus) 2.50 GBP (definately less than the price of a coffee in the UK)  then that would still reach my goal of $250. Because I know I’m not good at doing these things on my own, I’ve joined my lovely ‘Live Life Get Active’ group run by Nick at our local RHTC shopping centre team who are all raising funds. The team is called WOOOOW.  If you could help me to help others I’d be extremely grateful!  Let’s Beat Cancer together!!!
